Mobilizing the next generation of leaders, with Foundry BC
For two years running, Foundry BC (supported by Health Canada) kickstarted an initiative called the Youth & Family Ambassadors Program. A year-long, cohort-based leadership development program, the experience was designed to help young people gain literacy in topics such as cultural safety and humility, political advocacy (and more), while leading their own community-centered pilot projects for integrated youth services.
Co.school had the privilege of partnering with Foundry to help co-design and lead this program. It spanned multiple virtual workshops, was driven by participant energy, and culminated with a closing two-day leadership summit that brought together participants from across Canada to showcase their projects.
